Public Administration

The role of the public administrations is gradually envolving from a fundamentally reactive one to a much more proactive one that is much closer to citizens, which in turn is raising the level of satisfaction among the citizens it serves.

This new concept is based on the administration taking a stance of constant vigilance to detect citizen's needs and adapt the products and services it offers to meet those needs, all with a view toward simplifying, improving and expediting processes, based on the following principles:

• Quality and Continuous Improvement

This focus is part of the startegic initiative for the development of the information and knowledge society at both the European (eEurope 2005) and national levels by establishing a new Global Operating Model generally known as  "eGovernment" and which is associated with a new culture with new working methods supported by new technological tools that facilitate its development.
